Chasing 158, Buttler smashed an unbeaten 106 off 60 as the Royals wrapped the match up in 18.1 overs to set up the final against Gujarat Titans. With this, Buttler equalled Virat Kohli's record of four centuries in a single IPL season, a feat the former RCB skipper had achieved in 2016.
Royal Challengers Bangalore wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik has been "reprimanded" for breaching IPL Code of Conduct, an official IPL media release stated on Friday. Karthik had breached the Code Of Conduct during RCB's Eliminator clash against Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Sanjeev Khirwar, the IAS officer in the middle of a storm for allegedly walking his dog in Delhi's Thyagraj stadium, has been transferred to Ladakh. A report recently emerged in the media that sportsmen using the stadium are forced to vacate it early in the evening as Khirwar comes to walk his dog in the stadium. Khirwar is a 1994 batch IAS officer and is currently posted as principal secretary (Revenue) in Delhi. His wife Rinku Dugga, also an IAS officer, has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh via the same MHA order.
