According to The Athletic, clubs will be able to sign the striker, should they meet the figure in two years, despite Pep Guardiola having dismissed such claims. Ad Haaland signed a five-year deal to join City in the summer from Borussia Dortmund for £51.2 million and has been the star of the Premier League season so far.
