LONDON : Nick Kyrgios reached the first Grand Slam semi-final of his chequered career with a comfortable 6-4 6-3 7-6(5) victory over Chile's Cristian Garin at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
Ajla Tomljanovic has revealed she did not experience domestic violence with her ex-boyfriend Nick Kyrgios.
Nick Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari has spoken out for the first time after the Australian tennis player was charged with assaulting her.
Love him or hate him, the flawed genius that is Nick Kyrgios is one of the most polarising figures on the tennis circuit but he, at least, is "comfortable" with himself. The enigmatic Australian stunned the tennis world as a 19-year-old in 2014 when he beat then world number one Rafael Nadal on his way to the Wimbledon quarter-finals. But frequent tantrums and fines have overshadowed his undoubted talent and he has never achieved a better finish at a Grand Slam. Eight years on, Kyrgios again finds himself in the last eight at Wimbledon and this time with a serious chance to realise his full potential.
The news broke as the 27-year-old, one of the most polarising figures in tennis, prepared to play in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on Wednesday, with organisers saying Kyrgios remained on schedule for his match. Police in the Australian Capital Territory, where Canberra is located, released a statement without identifying the player. "ACT Policing can confirm a 27-year-old Watson man is scheduled to face the ACT Magistrates Court on the 2nd of August in relation to one charge of common assault following an incident in December 2021," the statement said.
