India to host Women's ODI World Cup in 2025

World Cup in 2025 as the BCCI has successfully bid for the mega event during the ICC Annual Conference that concluded in Birmingham on Tuesday. Russia was suspended in 2021 due to continued non-compliance since July 2019 with ICC's membership criteria. According to ICC, Cricket Russia didn't have the appropriate status, structure, recognition, membership and competence to be recognized by the ICC as the primary governing body in the country.
