Bolton comedian Peter Kay worked staff at a Lancashire chip shop in a frenzy as he popped in for a bite to eat. The star, who is in the middle of a huge UK stand-up tour, treated himself to the popular dish at the Atkinson's chippy on Albert Road in Morecambe on Wednesday night (August 2). Dressed in casual attire, staff said it marked the second time he had visited the eatery.

Welsh Fire started their Hundred 2023 campaign on a positive note as they registered a nine-run victory over Manchester Originals in a rain-curtailed match on Wednesday.
