Millie Bright called on to relieve England's red-hot World Cup pressure

Millie Bright is the ice-cool character who can relieve the red-hot pressure on England heading into this year’s Women’s World Cup, according to former Lioness and teammate Anita Asante. The Chesterfield-raised Chelsea defender, 29, was part of Sarina Wiegman's history-making Euro 2022 squad last summer and is renowned for her vibrant energy both on and off the pitch. Ad And Asante, who played with Bright at Chelsea between 2018 to 2020, believes that Bright's relaxed attitude can hold the key to keeping the Lionesses grounded ahead of the looming World Cup in Australia.

Steve Smith's Horrible DRS Call Has Virat Kohli In Splits. 'Worst Review' Says Twitter

Steve Smith was left embarrassed after a horrible review that forced Virat Kohli and even his teammate Marnus Labuschagne to laugh out loud during the third ODI encounter between India and Australia in Chennai on Wednesday. During the 10th over of the innings, Kohli chased a delivery from Sean Abbott outside the off-stump and most Australia fielders were convinced that he edged it to the keeper. Smith went for the review but the replays should that the ball was nowhere close to the bat and the third umpire did not even bother to check the ultra-edge. Smith was visibly sheepish after the replay was shown and Kohli could not help but laugh at Smith's decision to take the review.

India vs Australia - Watch: Mohammed Siraj Misses Tough Catch in 3rd ODI. Sunil Gavaskar Says "Hasn't Developed Instincts"

India vs Australia - Watch: Hardik Pandya Takes Three Wickets In Three Overs. Virat Kohli Can't Keep Calm

Hardik Pandya is back to his best as an all-rounder. The star has been contributing both with the bat and ball in the limited overs formats. He has also been regularly leading the team in the T20Is. He was also the stand-in captain in the first ODI against Australia.
