Matteo Berrettini undergoes minor hand surgery, return date to the ATP tour unknown

Matteo Berrettini has undergone minor surgery to his right hand following his withdrawal from the Miami Open. Berrettini pulled out of the Masters tournament ahead of his match against Argentina's Juan Manuel Cerundolo, with the 25-year-old later revealing it was due to a right hand injury which has required him to go under the knife. Ad/> “My team and I have been speaking to medical experts since my withdrawal from Miami with a right hand injury,” Berrettini wrote on Instagram.

Tras conocerse que el de Cervera es baja para este fin de semana, la fábrica japonesa coloca a su piloto de pruebas, Stefan Bradl, en el box del ilerdense. De esta forma, el alemán acompañará a Pol Espargaró, al menos, durante la cita de Termas de Río Hondo, con la esperanza de que que han destacado los especialistas en el último parte médico.
