WWE has confirmed exciting changes coming to Raw, SmackDown and NXT shows, effective immediately. Triple H, WWE’s new Chief Content Officer, has made alterations to the commentary teams for Raw, SmackDown and NXT.

The move is Triple H’s latest attempt to put his stamp on WWE shows since taking over from Vince McMahon in July. As noted, Triple H has made several changes to WWE shows, the latest of which have now been revealed in a new report. Variety is reporting on several commentary team changes made by Triple H, which WWE has now confirmed. Above are the make-ups of the next commentary teams for each of WWE’s shows, including NXT and Premium Live Events.

The changes will see Jimmy Smith removed from his Raw announcing role, which he was put last year, with the former MMA announcer being replaced by backstage interviewer Kevin Patrick.

Interestingly, Fightful Select is reporting that Smith is “finishing up” with WWE now that he isn’t working as the lead commentator for Raw.
