Bolton Wanderers have had a bid turned down by Derry City for central defender Eoin Toal. Wanderers have targeted the central defender as potentially their next acquisition this summer.

Three signings have been made so far by Ian Evatt's side ahead of the fresh League One campaign. Defender Jack Iredale has joined on a permanent basis.

Goalkeeper James Trafford and right-back Conor Bradley have both been signed up on loan for the season from Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.
