Bolton Wanderers have had a bid turned down by Derry City for central defender Eoin Toal. Wanderers have targeted the central defender as potentially their next acquisition this summer.

After the three earlier additions, the Whites hope to make a maximum of two more signings this summer. Evatt has confirmed Wanderers have bid for Toal's services, but that his current employers have turned it down.
