Having edged out Liverpool for their fourth English title in four seasons, Manchester City opted to shake things up by signing Erling Haaland, Kalvin Phillips, Stefan Ortega and Sergio Gomez during the summer transfer window.
That came as Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko moved in the other direction. Manchester United brought in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez with Casemiro and Antony joining once the season got underway.
