The Stormers will make a call on their returning Springboks later in the week as they prepare to face Scottish outfit Edinburgh at Cape Town Stadium.
The defending champions got their URC campaign up and running with a 38-15 win over Irish side Connacht in Stellenbosch last weekend.With the Springboks' Rugby Championship campaign now over, the likes of Steven Kitshoff, Frans Malherbe, Herschel Jantjies and Deon Fourie have returned to their franchise.Other Bok squad members Damian Willemse, Salmaan Moerat and Joseph Dweba had already returned from the Bok camp last week.Utility back Willemse missed last Saturday's Bok Test against Argentina due to concussion but he could also come into consideration this weekend.When probed about the returning Boks' involvement, Stormers assistant coach Rito Hlungwani told reporters a decision would be made later in the week."We have started reintegrating them," Hlungwani said of the returning Boks. "They started training today (Monday) and we will see how they go."Some of them haven't played in while so we will see how they go this week and we will make a decision probably by the end of tomorrow (Tuesday).Regarding Willemse's availability, Hlungwani added: "He is training - he is doing his return to play protocols.
