Steven Fletcher in Dundee United striker vow as he makes hilarious Tony Watt 'fourth child' quip

Steven Fletcher is hoping his experience will help Dundee United 's emerging strikers this season. The former Scotland international made the move to Tannadice this summer, signing a two-year deal, as Jack Ross bolsters his squad ahead of his first campaign as boss at Tannadice.

And the striker is looking to bring more than just goals to the table during his spell in the Tangerine half of Tayside. The 35-year-old has 18 years of first team experience under his belt after making his professional debut for Hibs way back in 2004, making 634 appearances and netting 164 goals since.

He has since starred for Scotland as well as enjoying spells south of the border and a stint in Marseille. And now he takes on the task in Tayside where he hopes to help push young, up and coming strikers through the ranks and into the first team.

The forward admits that there is a lot of young talent at the club, with his experience potentially invaluable for this who are looking to kick start their career during the 2022/23 campaign.
