The journey as the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) seems to be coming to an end for Sourav Ganguly who first took up the job in 2019.

Roger Binny, who was a part of India's World Cup-winning squad in 1983, is said to be the front-runner for the job that will be vacated by Ganguly.

Though an official announcement on the matter is yet to be made, former India head coach Ravi Shastri is delighted to see Binny being the one taking up the top spot in the board. "Roger's name has come up and I am delighted.

He was my colleague in the World Cup. There is continuity here because he was the president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association and now, he moves on to become the president of the BCCI.
