Paul Merson has heaped praise on four 'outstanding' Manchester United players after Wednesday's 2-1 win at home to Chelsea. United bounced back from a disappointing week with a convincing victory at home to Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Scott McTominay scored both goals for the Reds either side of half-time, with former Manchester City midfielder Cole Palmer on the scoresheet in between.

McTominay was the match-winner and produced another explosive midfield performance, while his midfield partner Sofyan Amrabat produced his best performance in as United shirt.

Both Antony and Alejandro Garnacho were also excellent out wide and Merson reserved praise for the quartet.
