Shelbourne have signed Sean Gannon following his departure from Shamrock Rovers as Damien Duff adds to his squad for next season.Gannon was part of the Hoops side who won four SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division titles in a row.He has been part of ten League of Ireland-winning sides and is the most decorated player in the history of Irish football with three FAI Cup winner's medals, three EA Sports Cups, and three FAI President’s Cups.The 32-year-old was out of favour with the champions this year and they announced his departure last week.Gannon has made over 300 senior appearances in the League of Ireland and FAI Cup since making his debut in 2011.
The Dubliner counts the Hoops, St Patrick’s Athletic and Dundalk FC among his former clubs.Gannon said: "I couldn’t be happier to join Shelbourne.
