FA Cup holders Liverpool take on Premier League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield at Leicester's King Power Stadium this evening.
Jurgen Klopp has been critical of the scheduling of the match - which is two weeks earlier than usual, to facilitate the mid-season break for the World Cup.
But, Liverpool haven't won the trophy since 2006, so Klopp is keen to add it to his list of honours. Niall Kearney is 11-under-par after 14 holes of his third round at The Hero Open.
He trails leader Sean Crocker by eight shots. Stephanie Meadow is one-under-par after four holes on day three of the Scottish Women's Open.
