Rangers fans are all saying the same thing after Kieran Trippier's red card was overturned by VAR this evening. The Newcastle right back saw red for a challenge on Manchester City 's Kevin De Bruyne.
But referee Jarred Gillett rescinded the card to a yellow after referring to VAR. And the move has certainly sparked outrage amongst Rangers fans who are still riled up about Willie Collum's decision to send John Lundstram packing after 66 minutes at Easter Road for his cynical tackle on Hibs frontman Martin Boyle.
Supporters have deemed the two challenges 'almost identical', insisting that the Gers midfielder would have remained on the park, too, if the Scottish game had VAR installed in time for the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
The 'opposing' decisions have added even more fuel to the fire which has saw Collum face copious amounts of backlash after Rangers were reduced to nine men in the capital after Lundstram and Morelos were sent for an early bath.
