Rangers B SPFL Trust Trophy clash with Hamilton Accies set to be postponed

Hamilton Accies’ SPFL Trust Trophy clash with Rangers B later this month is set to be postponed until November, with the Ibrox side ready to request a fixture change due to international call-ups.

The clubs are due to meet at Dumbarton Stadium on Saturday, September 24, which falls on the international weekend when Scotland’s ‘A’ team play in the UEFA Nations League and the under-19s play in the Slovenia Cup.

For a fixture postponement request to be made on grounds of player unavailability, three or more must have been called up for their country.

And from Scottish nationals alone, Rangers B have Jack Harkness, Mackenzie Strachan and Robbie Ure in Billy Stark’s upcoming U19 squad.
