Rafael Nadal further cemented himself as one of the greatest tennis players to ever take to the court when he clinched his 14th French Open this past weekend.

The win at Roland Garros was the 22nd Grand Slam the Spaniard has won during his 21-year career as a professional, adding to his four US Open titles, two Wimbledon wins and two Australian Open victories.

His latest win, which was sealed in straight sets 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 against Norwegian Casper Ruud, has netted him €2.2 million (£1,882,463) in prize money, according to tennisworldusa.

That has taken his earnings for this season alone to £4,553,955.50, the most of any male player on the circuit. Across his whole career, Nadal has earned a staggering £104,059,042.52 in tournament prize money.
