QPR boss makes ‘exciting’ prediction about Manchester United starlet Ethan Laird after goal vs Hull

Queens Park Rangers manager Michael Beale says “there is more to come” from Manchester United loanee Ethan Laird following his goal against Hull City on Tuesday.

The right-back, who will spend the season at Loftus Road, struck home on 15 minutes after latching onto a cross from left-back Kenneth Paal to put his side two goals up.

The strike was made sweeter by the hosts running out 3-1 winners to jump into the play-offs. The 21-year-old was used on three occasions in pre-season by Erik ten Hag, playing a total of 148 minutes.

However, the new United boss ultimately decided he was not going to be part of his plans this campaign, so the player secured a London loan move.
