PSG 'pushing' to beat Barcelona to Man City's Bernardo Silva and more transfer rumours

Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to steal in front of Barcelona and sign Bernardo Silva, according to reports. Manchester City have already sold Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer so another major departure appears unlikely, but they do maintain their stance that an unhappy player can leave if he wants as long as the right money is paid.

While not agitating for a move, Bernardo was keen to return closer to his native Portugal last summer but a suitable offer never came in.

The dynamic midfielder put the disappointment behind him and went on to have an incredible campaign and was near-ever present in Pep Guardiola's Premier League-winning side.

Rumours linking Bernardo with an exit have resurfaced sporadically throughout the current window, too, with the supposedly cash-strapped Barcelona said to be interested.
