Former Manchester United midfielders Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves have had their say on the team that should start in next month's Manchester derby.
Due to the postponement of the Leeds United fixture because of stretched policing resources following the death of the Queen and the upcoming international break, the Reds' next match will be the derby at the Etihad Stadium on October 2.
Despite the crucial game being more than two weeks away, Scholes and Hargreaves have already had their say on who should be involved. "I think the goalkeeper (De Gea) is set, back four (Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia) is set, [Scott] McTominay’s earned that position," Hargreaves explained on BT Sport. "I think Casemiro might play against City but [Christian] Eriksen and Bruno [Fernandes] in midfield.
