Portsmouth will be hoping to push for promotion when the new League One campaign gets underway at the end of this month, with Pompey starting the new season with a tough trip to Sheffield Wednesday. Danny Cowley will be striving to continue bolstering his forward options ahead of that fixture in under two weeks, following the departure of Marcus Harness and George Hirst’s return to Leicester City.
Losing creativity in Harness and power in Hirst, one player who could provide both is Luton Town’s Admiral Muskwe, a player who could be available to League One clubs this summer.
Possessing a plethora of attacking options ahead of the new campaign, Nathan Jones may opt to send Muskwe out on loan ahead of the closure of the summer window, or try to generate a fee for his permanent departure.
The former option is more likely than the latter, whilst remaining at Kenilworth Road is of course a possibility at this stage.
