Ian Evatt says Bolton Wanderers will monitor where their transfer interest in defender Eoin Toal leads to this summer after having a bid turned down by Derry City.
Wanderers have made three signings so far this summer with the addition of defender Jack Iredale on a permanent basis. Goalkeeper James Trafford and right-back Conor Bradley have both joined on loan for the season from Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.
The Whites are seeking to do some more business this summer before the transfer window closes at the end of September. Evatt has previously spoken of up to two more players perhaps being brought in. This season, he has turned out 20 times in the League of Ireland Premier Division and scored once. Reports in Ireland emerged late on Monday evening that Wanderers had put in a bid for Toal, who is out of contract with Derry at the end of the current season, which will run out in November.
