Nick Montgomery has challenged his Hibs stars to keep pushing the boundaries after setting a standard in Saturday’s draw with Celtic.

The Easter Road outfit came in for sharp criticism following last week’s 4-0 drubbing at Rangers but showed a desire and discipline to shut out the champions and take a point on their own turf at the weekend.

New boss Montgomery insists belief is key in the big games with Saturday’s Viaplay Cup semi final against Aberdeen coming hot on the heels of tonight’s visit of Ross County.

And he said: “Coming up against the better teams is where your identity can be tested. I thought we stood strong at the weekend and played really well.
