Super sub Lydon Dykes reckons Scotland now have "one to give" Ireland after opening their Nations League triple header with a convincing victory over Ukraine.
The striker came on to replace fellow frontman Che Adams at 1-0 after 77 minutes of play. And he certainly didn't need long to make his mark, netting two terrific headers in the closing moments of the clash.
It was tonight's captain - in the absence of skipper Andy Robertson- John McGinn who opened the scoring but Dykes settled the nerves by doubling Scotland 's lead in the 80th minute before adding another for good measure seven minutes later.
The win moves Steve Clarke 's men into top spot in League B Group 1 as the gear up for a home tie against the Republic of Ireland on Saturday before another meeting with Ukraine on the road next week.
