Charlie McNeill was left 'delighted' after scoring on his debut for Stevenage. The Manchester United starlet headed out for his second loan spell away from the club on transfer deadline day, signing for Steve Evans' side for the season.

The move marks a step up for McNeill who spent the latter half of last season on loan at Newport County. The striker scored twice and grabbed an assist in 20 appearances in League Two and the club were keen to have him back for the season.

However, McNeill has made the jump up a division to League One. He has taken it like a duck to water after scoring on his debut on Saturday away at Leyton Orient.

McNeill opened the scoring after 21 minutes when he got ahead of a defender in the box to get glance a cross into the bottom corner.
