Livingston have moved to replace Max Stryjek by signing former Morton stopper Jack Hamilton. The 28-year-old has been training with the Premiership club for a few weeks and has now put pen to paper.
He's expected to compete with Ivan Konovalov for the primary back-up role behind Shamal George. Hamilton, who played in all 36 Championship games for the 'Ton last season, has previous top flight experience with both Hearts and Dundee.
he became a free agent in the summer after electing to turn down a new deal at Cappielow. Ironically, Morton boss Dougie Imrie then signed Livingston keeper Brian Schwake on loan for the campaign.
Livi boss David Martindale said: "Jack has been in training with us for a few weeks now and looking really good. I know he had a top season at Morton last season and he had a few offers to stay in the Championship. “Jack has over 250 games under his belt with over 55 games in the Premiership and played previously in European competition.
