Leeds United’s new marquee signing Luis Sinisterra was substituted off after just 11 minutes in this morning’s friendly against Crystal Palace.
The Colombian was named in the starting lineup for the first time but dropped to the floor under minimal pressure. The 23-year-old was holding his hamstring as Leeds’ medical team rushed on to the pitch before escorting him off to be replaced by Rodrigo.
Sinisterra had come on as a substitute in the games against Brisbane Roar and Aston Villa but failed to make the desired impact as the games became disjointed and petered out.
His inclusion in Marsch’s starting lineup for Friday’s friendly brought with it huge excitement at finally getting to see the £22million man from the off, but after a promising start he fell to the floor.
