There was a huge shock this evening in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division as Shelbourne beat reigning champions Shamrock Rovers.

They beat Shamrock Rovers 2-1 in a thrilling game at Tolka Park. Elsewhere, Drogheda United lost 4-1 to Waterford FC, Dundalk lost to Galway United 2-0, while St Pats lost to Bohemians 1-0.

In the First Division, it was all square at Cobh Ramblers 3 Athlone Town 3. In Ballybofey, it ended Finn Harps 1 Cork City 1.

It is Kerry 2 Bray Wanderers 3 at Mounthawk Park, where play has been suspended twice due to hail. While at Belfield, it finished UCD 0 Treaty United 1.
