Manchester United are 15/2 second favourites with Betway to win the 2022/23 UEFA Europa League after being handed a relatively straightforward set of Group-stage fixtures in Friday's draw in Istanbul.
The Reds, winners of the competition under Jose Mourinho in 2017, proved bitterly disappointing when losing out to Seville on penalties in the 2020 final but new boss Erik ten Hag, who has led Ajax to a Champions League semi-final, is likely to see this compeition as a big opportunity to bag a major trophy early in his reign.
United have been drawn in Group E of the 2022/23 Europa League having been drawn the fifth side out of the hat, while early tournament favourites Arsenal are in Group A.
The Reds should have little trouble progressing from Group E, with their trickiest fixtures set to be the home and away games against Spanish side Real Sociedad, who held United to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford in this competitiion in 2021.
