Manchester United and fellow Premier League sides could face more fixture chaos this season after plans for King Charles III's coronation were announced.
The ceremony to crown the Monarch will be held at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6 next year - right at the end of the domestic campaign.
Following the Queen's death last month, all Premier League games that following weekend were postponed as a mark of respect for the long-serving Monarch, while United then saw their follow-up showdown with bitter rivals Leeds United cancelled due to policing concerns.
As things stand, dates and times for matchday 34 are yet to be confirmed but, should it have a similar impact from when Queen Elizabeth II passed away, three London sides at home that weekend are West Ham, Tottenham and Fulham.
