Liverpool may be set to vote in favour of keeping VAR – but departing boss Jurgen Klopp made it clear he completely disagrees.
Premier League clubs are set to vote next month on whether to bin the technology from the beginning of next season after Wolves brought a motion to the table.
A report in February found it had made 20 mistakes up to that point and there's been an uptick controversy since, but the league and PGMOL have defended it, pointing to a sharp increase in the accuracy of decisions since its introduction in 2019.
They claim 96 per cent of decisions are now correct, compared to 80 per cent before. Fourteen teams will need to vote in favour of binning it off for it to happen but it's believed Liverpool won't be one of them, with Anfield chiefs in favour of keeping it.
