Julian Alvarez has revealed he is happy learning different roles at Manchester City. The Blues continued their winning start to the new season by putting another six points on the board with a 1-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday.
It was Alvarez himself who got the winning striker in the first half as he fired into the far top corner after being teed up by Phil Foden.
Though signed as a striker, Alvarez has tended to play in a creative midfield role during his time at City and he is enjoying the position. “Well, I played in this position a few times last season too," he said. "I try to learn every day, to adapt to different positions that they play me in, the different movements I need to make to help the team – wherever that may be.
