Like every manager who came before him, Ten Hag will be compared and judged against the greatness that Ferguson achieved at Old Trafford but Javier Hernandez believes that United need to 'get over' their legendary manager's departure.
United have been on a steady decline since Ferguson called it a day in 2013 and every managerial appointment that has been made in the near decade since has ultimately failed.
Time will tell if Ten Hag can buck the trend but former United man Hernandez feels that he must be allowed to do so in his own way.
