Love Island runner-up Gemma Owen has given fans an update on her life since leaving the ITV2 dating show. The 19-year-old, who reached the Love Island final with her partner Luca Bish, 23, has started her own YouTube channel and released her first video since leaving the villa.

It comes after an announcement from PrettyLittleThing earlier this week which revealed that Gemma has signed a reported 'six-figure' deal as their new UK brand ambassador.

Michael Owen's daughter is following in the footsteps of 2019 Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, who signed a big deal with PLT after the show and became the brand's creative director last year.

Gemma's huge deal with the Manchester-based global fashion brand came after she impressed CEO Umar Kamani and will see Gemma design her own collections as well as help the brand launch their new resale platform ‘PLT Marketplace’ where shoppers can buy and sell second-hand clothes.
