Emmerdale fans have been left furious as Leyla Cavanagh was almost tempted to stoop to a new low. Viewers of the ITV soap found out a couple of months ago that the wedding planner has secretly been enjoying drug benders while partying with newcomer Suzy.

Leyla appeared sheepish when her work pal appeared in the village as a new love interest for Vanessa Woodfield but after Suzy agreed to keep her secret, the pair were back to getting on like a house of fire and continued to go out and take drugs.

However, when Suzy discovered that she was the one who sold drugs to Moira's daughter Holly before her death caused by an overdose, she decided to stop her drug use and encouraged Leyla to do the same.

But as fans of the ITV soap know, Leyla hasn't knocked it on the head.
