She has just won her "dream" role in Coronation Street, and Jodie Prenger hasn't stopped beaming about it yet. The West End star was revealed as Corrie's newest Rovers barmaid earlier this month, and was spotted for the first time this week fresh from filming as she headed to watch Cluedo at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.
Jodie was joined by a host of her new Corrie co-stars as well as legends from the soap at the launch event on Monday night for Cluedo which stars EastEnders and Corrie icon Michelle Collins as Miss Scarlett.
Michelle famously played Rovers landlady Stella Price, and now Jodie will be heading to a role in the most famous pub in the land as well.
Jodie will be playing Glenda Shuttleworth, the sister of Weatherfield undertaker George Shuttleworth, played by Tony Maudsley, who will take on a job as a barmaid at the Rovers in scenes being filmed right now.
