'Hour long delays' with lanes closed on M60 after crash involving HGVs - latest updates

There are 'long delays' on the M60 this afternoon with multiple lanes closed following a collision between two heavy goods vehicles.

Two lanes are blocked off with police at the scene on the clockwise carriageway between J12 for the M62 and J13 for Swinton.

Traffic is continuing to build in the area. Motorway traffic cameras show two large lorries at the scene beside north west motorway police and National Highways officers.
