Graeme Souness states Man City have corrected £100m transfer error from last year

Graeme Souness says if Manchester City had signed Harry Kane instead of Jack Grealish a year ago, the Blues would have “won everything.” The champions splashed £100m on Grealish last summer and went throughout the whole season without a recognised centre-forward, usually playing a false nine.

An early League Cup exit ended their four-year dominance in that particular competition and they suffered a semi-final defeat to eventual winners Liverpool in the FA Cup.
