Poundland confirmed a range of former Wilko stores will reopen under a new brand this weekend. It comes after 20 former Wilko stores had already been pegged to reopen as Poundland locations.
The final 41 Wilko stores shut their doors for good last Sunday. All nine new stores will reportedly hold a wide range of products including groceries, household items, and general items.
They will also feature Peopco family clothing which has been rolle out to more than 500 Poundland stores in the UK and Ireland, Wales Online reports. While stores will get more extensive refits in next year, we’re proud that another nine former Wilko stores will begin their Poundland journeys this coming weekend.”
