Friends of Love Island star Paige Thorne have again spoken out in her defence as recently dumped islanders speak about her outside the villa.

The Welsh paramedic has had an interesting journey in the ITV2 dating show having first been paired with Luca Bish by the public.

However it was clear from the beginning the pair wouldn't become a romantic couple and Paige's luck changed when rugby player Jacques O'Neill, who happens to be the ex of Gemma Owen who is now coupled with Luca, entered the Mallorcan villa.

They appeared to hit it off and were getting on famously until Casa Amor. And after Jacques tested his feelings for Paige by getting close to new girl Cheyanne Kerr, things never recovered and in emotional scenes, the 23-year-old quit the villa of his own accord in order to get "back to himself".
