Former Grimsby Town winger Max Wright has signed a two-year-deal with fellow League Two outfit Harrogate Town. The 24-year-old struggled for game time during the 21/22 campaign, making just 12 appearances for Paul Hurst's side.

With the player's undoubted quality apparent to see whilst with Town, Wright was released from the club following promotion back to the EFL just months ago.

Now, set to face the Mariners this season, the biggest test will be whether the player can shake off his recent injury concerns.

Having been at the club since the age of 10, many were saddened to learn of Wright's departure, given his return to first team action at the back end of the 21/22 campaign.
