Phil Jones, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe are unlikely to leave Manchester United before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

Jones has not trained with the squad all summer and started two games in the last two years while Tuanzebe left the club's pre-season tour after the first game in Bangkok and Williams has been unavailable through injury for nearly two months.

United want to make at least two signings before next week's 11pm deadline on the night they play Leicester but Ten Hag was coy on the prospect of any more reinforcements. The whole transfer window, we are happy with what we did until now but the bar has to be high." On Jones, Tuanzebe and Williams, he added: "It can be but we are talking about players who are not available so I don't think they will go out in this window." United have loaned out Dean Henderson, Alex Telles and Eric Bailly so far this summer but are yet to sell any member of their squad from last season.
