England need a win against Australia in Sydney this weekend as they seek to complete just a second series win down under in their history.

Their first was a 3-0 whitewash in 2016 at the beginning of the Eddie Jones era at the helm with England and they will be in high spirits having kept the series alive in the second test.

Jones' men won the second test 17-25 following an ill-tempered 30-28 first test defeat at the hands of the Wallabies. The match will be played at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground in front of a potential 48,000 capacity crowd.

Youngsters Tommy Freeman and Jack van Poortvliet are both likely to keep their starting spots after impressing in Saturday's victory while Ollie Chessum is likely to replace Maro Itoje for the third test with the Saracens lock ruled out by concussion.
