Emmerdale star Danny Miller's wife Steph has been praised by fans after she began breastfeeding her child live on TV. The couple appeared on ITV's Loose Women on Friday (August 18) to discuss their difficulties getting pregnant.

Steph, who works as a midwife, suffers from polycystic ovaries (PCOS), which can lead to fertility problems. But the couple managed to get pregnant and Steph recently gave birth to their little girl Edith.

During the show, Edith could be heard crying backstage. Steph's mum then brought her out to be settled, giving Steph and Danny the chance to introduce her to the audience and viewers at home, reports The Mirror. She began to discreetly breastfeed the newborn while Danny kept their two-year-old son Albert on his knee. Viewers were delighted to see Steph not shy away from breastfeeding her child despite being on TV. “What a lovely moment to see Steph just turning away from the camera so she could breastfeed her beautiful baby xxx #proudmum #breastfeeding,” said one viewer on Twitter.
