Deshaun Watson: Browns QB could take serious action with NFL over possible suspension

givemesport.com

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is reportedly preparing to take action against the NFL depending on the punishment they could potentially give him.  The Cleveland Browns quarterback is currently under investigation from the NFL over 24 acts of sexual misconduct that he has been accused of committing during his time with the Houston Texans.

Whilst he was not indicted by a criminal court for the allegations, he has been facing a number of civil suits against him from his accusers, the vast majority of which have been settled out of court.

However whilst Deshaun Watson isn’t going to face any criminal punishment for his alleged actions, he could still face a very lengthy punishment for bringing the NFL into disrepute, much in a similar way that former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was suspended when he was faced accusations of sexual misconduct back in 2010.

Some reports are suggesting that the NFL would look to suspend Watson for the whole upcoming season, whilst others are hinting that an indefinite suspension could be on the way for him.
