'Comical' defending from Celtic has become the butt of the Sportscene jokes after Liam Scales and Alistair Johnston did a great job marking EACH OTHER.

Brendan Rodgers' men fell to an emphatic 2-0 defeat at the hands of Hearts when Lawrence Shankland made it lucky number 13 for the season with a free header at the back post that took the Parkhead grumbles from a dull roar to a loud chastising.

That was before another set piece from Stephen Kingsley piled on the agony with Steven Naismith's men ending a 16-year hoodoo in the Scottish Premiership at Celtic Park to sting the champions.

And to add more pain to proceedings, pundits James McFadden and Neil McCann found the funny side of some hard-to-watch Hoops defending for the opener.
