Two Canadian pairs sit in medal position after Friday's short program at Skate Canada International, the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating event in Saskatoon.
Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps are in second place (73.03), with fellow Canadians Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud close behind in third position (70.66).

Germany's Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin lead the pairs competition with the top score after the short program, posting a total of 77.53 points.
Canadians Kelly Ann Laurin and Loucas Ethier (59.93) will start tomorrow's free program in sixth place.
