Caelan Doris captains Ireland as squad for November series announced

breakingnews.ie

Caelan Doris has been named as captain for Ireland's November internationals as Andy Farrell names his squad for the four games.

Doris has been named captain for Leinster this season, and will lead his country once again after he was captain for the second test in South Africa in July.

Peter O'Mahony, who captained the side during the Six Nations, has been included in the squad despite injury. At hooker, where Ireland have a number of injuries, Ronan Kelleher and Rob Herring have been included despite their injures, alongside Connacht's Dave Heffernan.

Sam Prendergast and Ulster's Cormac Izuchukwu are the only uncapped players in the squad. Prendergast joins Jack Crowley and Ciarán Frawley as the fly-halfs.
